This Fund helps businesses, organizations, and communities relieve the economic impact of COVID-19 and prepare for recovery by:
- mitigating financial pressures so that you can continue your operations and keep paying employees
- supporting business projects to prepare now for a successful recovery
The Thompson Okanagan Tourism Micro Loan is in alignment with the previously announced Regional Relief & Recovery Fund (RRRF) which has provided $587,000 to more than 20 tourism businesses in the region, as of August 2020.
Micro loans start at $200, up to $25,000. Terms and conditions apply which are specific to each Community Futures office.
Community Futures Okanagan Similkameen is committed to keeping our community safe and informed through the Covid-19 pandemic. We understand that the uncertainty around what is happening and what will happen over the next weeks and months is keeping you up at night. We want all of our clients and indeed our whole business community to know that we are here for you. We are committed to providing you with timely information as it becomes available.
One way we want to do that is by hosting a weekly briefing via Zoom meetings. We invite you to join us at 9:30 am on Tuesdays to not only hear updates but to connect with others, share ideas and ask questions. You are not in this alone – we are #bettertogether.
